Copyright Policy for Music.Worldmates.Club

Music.Worldmates.Club (the "Site") is a music platform associated with the social network Worldmates.Club. We respect intellectual property rights and are committed to complying with Ukrainian and European Union legislation, including the Law of Ukraine No. 2811-IX "On Copyright and Related Rights" (effective January 1, 2023), the Law of Ukraine No. 3321-IX "On Digital Content and Digital Services" (aligned with EU Directive 2019/770), EU Directive 2019/790 on Copyright in the Digital Single Market (including Article 17 on platform liability), Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (Digital Services Act, DSA), and Directive 2001/29/EC (InfoSoc Directive). For users in the United States, we also comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA, 17 U.S.C. § 512).

If you believe that content on the Site infringes your copyright or related rights, please submit a complaint to our Designated Copyright Agent. We will promptly review valid complaints and remove or disable access to infringing material as required by law.

Requirements for Copyright Infringement Complaints

Your complaint must include the following information to be valid under Ukrainian and EU laws:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature (or that of an authorized representative).
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (e.g., title, description, or a list of multiple works).
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location on the Site (e.g., URL of the specific page).
  4. Your contact information: address, phone number, and email.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the rights owner.

Warning: Under Article 52 of Ukraine’s Law No. 2811-IX and Article 16 of the DSA, you may be liable for damages if you knowingly misrepresent that material is infringing.

Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification, including:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the removed material and its prior location.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was due to a mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and phone number.
  5. Consent to the jurisdiction of Ukrainian courts or relevant EU courts (based on your location).

Send the counter-notification to our Designated Agent. We will forward it to the complainant and restore the material within 10–14 business days unless legal action is initiated, as per DSA requirements.

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with Article 50 of Law No. 2811-IX and EU Directive 2019/790, we may restrict access or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights. Such decisions are made at our sole discretion.

DMCA Compliance (for International Users)

For complaints from U.S. rights holders, we comply with the DMCA. Complaints must meet the above requirements and additional DMCA provisions (17 U.S.C. § 512). Our Designated Agent is registered with the U.S. Copyright Office.

Additional Provisions

The Site ensures that digital content (music, lyrics) complies with quality and licensing standards per Law No. 3321-IX and EU Directive 2019/770. We cooperate with rights holders and authorities to protect intellectual property. Complaints from Ukrainian users are handled under national jurisdiction.
